Founded in 2016, Amp You Up was built on years of hands-on experience and a simple belief: technology should be installed with the same level of care and attention as any other part of your home or business.
Meet the Founder
Marcin Stankiewicz
My journey in the AV industry began in 2008, installing some of the first generations of flat-screen TVs and home theater systems for customers throughout Long Island and the New York metropolitan area.
After spending several years working in other areas of construction, I returned to the AV industry in 2014 and began working on high-end residential technology projects throughout the Hamptons, New York City, and Long Island. That experience introduced me to a much broader side of the industry — from whole-home audio and video to networking, structured wiring, equipment integration, and professionally designed technology systems.
I later transitioned into commercial AV, working on installations for churches, universities, hospitals, and other commercial environments throughout New York. Working across both residential and commercial projects gave me a strong appreciation for proper planning, clean infrastructure, reliable equipment, and the details behind an installation that clients may never see — but ultimately determine how well a system performs.
In 2016, I founded Amp You Up AV & Security to bring that experience directly to my own clients.
Ten years later, the goal remains the same: provide thoughtfully designed technology, meticulous workmanship, and a level of personal attention that clients can feel throughout the entire project.
Long Island Roots
I grew up in Copiague, where I spent most of my life and attended local public schools before earning an Associate Degree in Business from Briarcliffe College.
Today, Amp You Up AV & Security is based in Lindenhurst and serves homeowners and businesses throughout Suffolk County, Nassau County, and the greater New York City area.
Being a Long Island-based business is important to me. Amp You Up isn't a national franchise or a faceless installation company. When you work with us, you're working directly with someone who understands the area, takes pride in the work, and has a personal investment in the reputation behind every installation.
Experience That Continues to Evolve
Technology never stops changing, and neither should the people installing it.
Professional training includes Sonos audio systems, residential networking and Wi-Fi technologies from Luxul and Araknis, and security and surveillance system training. Broader industry experience also includes training and hands-on exposure to professional AV platforms such as Crestron and Extron.
As Amp You Up continues to expand into more advanced integrated-home solutions, continued manufacturer training and certification remain an important part of that growth.
